Samsung Introduces Advanced AI Features with 'Galaxy AI': Available Across Multiple Device Models

Samsung has unveiled a variety of advanced AI features called 'Galaxy AI' at the launch of its latest flagship series, the Galaxy S24. This marks Samsung's ambitious step towards offering more comprehensive AI devices.

However, Galaxy AI is not exclusive to the 2024 Galaxy S24 flagship series alone. Several older Samsung phones are also getting the update.

The phones in question are the Galaxy S23 series released in 2023. These include the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, Galaxy S23 Ultra, and Galaxy S23 FE.

But that's not all; the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 foldable phone series will also receive Galaxy AI after receiving the One UI 6.1 software update.

The rollout of Galaxy AI on older Samsung devices has begun this week for users in the United States (US). Its widespread availability will commence in April.

For the tablet series, the Tab S9, Tab S9 Plus, and Tab S9 Ultra will also benefit from Galaxy AI.

Key Features of Galaxy AI on Samsung Phones

Here are some flagship features included in Galaxy AI:

Circle to Search: Functions similarly to Google Lens but with easier access within the camera app.

Live Translate: Provides real-time two-way translation during phone calls.

Generative Edit: Allows editing and removing specific objects in the background of photos, akin to Photoshop.

Chat Assist: Integrates real-time translation capability into Samsung Keyboard, provides writing style recommendations, and checks grammar.

With Galaxy AI, Samsung aims to enhance user experience and productivity across its range of devices, ensuring that users can enjoy the latest AI advancements regardless of their device model.
